These terms apply when a school, coaching centre or its staff, students or parents use Pathshala Mitra.

The service

Pathshala Mitra gives each school or coaching centre an online portal for students, teachers, attendance (including face attendance), fees, exams, results, notices and related work, on the web and as an installable mobile app. A coaching centre logs in at its own page and works in batches instead of classes, with the monthly fee set per batch.

Plans and payment

• Monthly plan: ₹600 per institute per month. Yearly plan: ₹6,000 per institute per year. The price is the same for a school and a coaching centre.
• A new school or coaching centre gets a free trial of 15 days.
• After a plan ends there is a 7-day grace period. After that the portal becomes view-only until the plan is renewed — no data is deleted.
• Payments are for the period paid and are not refunded for unused time, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

What the institute is responsible for

• Enter correct information and keep login passwords private.
• Get any consent needed from parents and staff, including for student photos and, where face attendance is used, for teaching and keeping a face fingerprint.
• Use the service lawfully and not try to access another institute's data.

Availability and backups

We work to keep the service running at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during internet or cloud-provider outages. Institutes should download a backup regularly from School Details (Coaching Details in a coaching centre).

Suspension

We may suspend a portal for non-payment after the grace period, or for misuse. We will contact the institute first whenever possible.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the school paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms and prices. Schools will be told in the portal or on WhatsApp before a price change applies to them.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Cooch Behar, West Bengal have jurisdiction.
